Free Recruitment Service For Employer's In Bristol And Bath
We have delivered services in Bristol for over 20 years. Our work in Bristol is now centred around the Work Programme and our Working it Out project.
Work Programme
The Work Programme is the Government's major programme to support people who are long-term unemployed, or at risk of becoming so.
The Work Programme is for you if you need intensive support to find work, either because you have been out of work for a year, or if you have other needs, for example, you have been in prison. You will get the help that is right for you, for example one-to-one support, mentoring, vocational training, work placements and aftercare.
You can only be referred to the support Work Programme provides through Jobcentre Plus - you cannot refer yourself. The Work Programme replaces previous welfare-to-work programmes such as the New Deal, Employment Zones and Flexible New Deal.
Working It Out
'Working It Out' is a ten-week programme for young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, work or training. The programme will give you confidence and motivation and get you ready for work or training. You will learn to work as a team, take responsibility and gain new skills. We will also help you write your CV, practise interview skills and complete applications for jobs or college. You will work on a community challenge as part of a team. Working on a challenge is a chance to find out what you are good at and show an employer what you can do.
Working It Out started in Bristol in spring 2012 and we've supported over 40 young people into work, training or back into education.
If you live in Bristol, you can join the Working It Out programme by calling the local team.
